How many fence panels do I need?
Divide the run length by the panel width and round up. A 96-foot run with 8-foot panels needs 12 panels, plus posts at each joint and end.
How many posts for a fence?
For panel fencing, posts ≈ panels + 1 for a single straight run. Add more for corners, ends, and gate posts.
How much concrete per fence post?
Many DIY posts use 1–2 bags of fast-setting concrete each, depending on hole diameter and depth. This calculator defaults to 2 bags/post for planning.
